PHIP. ​​​​​This madness started with one club in Atlanta (founder, Scott Nickerson) and has blossomed to a network of over 200 clubs around the U.S. plus international clubs based in Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and AustraliaThe Parrot Head nation has been around since 2002. During this time, the Parrot Head clubs around the nation have raised

 $39,9 million dollars and 3,407,000 volunteer hours.

The Parrot Heads of the Blue Ridge, Inc is a social and civic organization whose purpose is to engage and participate in activities that are charitable, educational and that promote the well being of the community. The club sponsors monthly social activities and events in the community for all who share an interest in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies.
